She runs a private dyslexia therapy practice for students with neurodiversity in Atlanta and online. She also offers dynamic teacher training and mentorship for those wishing to support struggling readers. The Reading Wars Still Rage

Brain research has begun to uncover the ways in which our brains process words.  Upon reading a word, our brain literally pulls it apart into a hierarchy of letters, phonemes, syllables, and morphemes.  Shouldn't we teach our children to read based on the way in which information is processed in our brains?
